Pastor Teka L. Smith is the pastor of Light of the World Wisdom Church in Irvine, CA. She is a mentor to many, champion of power in prayer, and an advocate of young people who suffer from demoralizing damages upon self at the hands or cruelty of another.

Pastor Teka was officially ordained an elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2010, wherein education and discipline of Biblical doctrine led to preaching and teaching for number one branded churches in Los Angeles and Orange County, California.

In 2013, with the blessing of the Denominational Church, Pastor Teka launched the new, non-denominational Church, Light of the World Wisdom Ministries. Pastor Teka also faithfully serves kids ministry at Free Chapel Orange County, CA.

Pastor Teka is available for speaking engagements throughout the continental US.
She hosts First Sundays with Pastor Teka which is held on the first Sunday of every month in Irvine, CA. This is a worship event with an uplifting sermon, musical and dance performances, as well as a fellowship after party. It’s “not your mother’s church service”!
